CONGRATULATIONS MAX!!!
Max Katsikas graduated from Miami University in May of 2022. He completed an honors thesis under the direction of Dr. Messman and mentored by Seth Wilensky. That project focused on men's experiences of sexual violence across their lifetime (childhood and adulthood), emotion dysregulation, masculine norms and problematic alcohol use. This fall Max is a new graduate student in the clinical psychology Ph.D. program at Northern Illinois University under the mentorship of Dr. Holly Orcutt. Congratulations, Max, we know you will be a great scholar and clinician!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Seth has been awarded a Graduate Student Paper Award for his talk at the upcoming annual meeting of the Midwestern Psychological Association (in April 2023). This talk, “Masculinity Adherence and Sexual Difficulties Among Male Sexual Victimization Survivors,” is based on the findings of his Master's thesis.
